FAQs

Here you find frequently asked questions about Escape the Room Games and our Escape Agency.

english

I have read all information about the game, but I still cannot imagine what exactly the game is about.

That’s fine. Just imagine an hour of fun! Some infos have deliberately been held back in order to increase the surprise effect and keep the suspense up!
Try it out!

How long does a game last?

A game lasts 60 minutes. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes early for a short introduction.

How many participants can play per room?

A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 per room. With just 2, solving the game can be quite a difficult task, but it’s definitely possible. A larger group allows a division of tasks and develops a group dynamic. With more than 6 players, you can book both rooms and play simultaneously.

Is there an age limit?

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Minors are only allowed to participate when they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please note that the game is designed for grown-ups and therefore can be difficult to solve for a group of kids. Furthermore, all participants of room 212b must be at least 10 years old, and of Bunker Z all participants must be at least 12 years old.

Should one be afraid – and what happens if we do not achieve to escape the room in 60 minutes?

No worries, the last thing we want is to scare you whilst you are locked in the room. The fun of playing should be the priority and help you forget your daily routine for 1 hour. In the case that you do not make it in 60 minutes, the doors will be opened and you will be let out.

What do we have to consider and do we need special knowledge or tools?

All you need to bring is anticipation and a good mood. All the equipment and information you need to solve the room can be found inside. Apart from that, wear comfortable clothing and if you are into dressing up and disguising that’s fine as well. You are very welcome to come dressed as Sherlock Holmes.

Are there any health restrictions?

Although the game is primarily based on using your creativity and common sense, physical activity is a part of it. Additionally, acoustic signals or clues as well as changes of lighting conditions may occur during the game at any time. Persons with claustrophobia have to observe that the room will be locked and the lights may be dimmed.

We would like to do a corporate event at the Escape Agency, is this possible?

As a corporate event and -for team building that’s a great idea. You will find all the information here.

We don’t speak German; can we also enjoy the game?

You are absolutely welcome. All puzzles in Room212b and Bunker Z are language-independent, and both rooms are in German and English language. The Hexer ist just available in German. For further information please see our English website.
